作業療法の世界大会に参加，発表してきました
こんにちは．作業療法学専攻教員の冨山です．
最近みなさんは，サッカーワールドカップのために寝不足ではないでしょうか？
４年に１度，この時期はサッカー一色になりますよね．
実は，作業療法にも４年に１度の世界大会があります．
今回行われた学会は，第16回世界作業療法士連盟大会で，４年に１度開催される学術大会です．
今回は横浜市で開催され，約6400人，70カ国以上の人が参加し大変盛り上がりました．
また，学術大会に先駆け17日に行われた開会式には，天皇皇后両陛下もご臨席されました．
今回は各国の作業療法士が集まる国際学会で，色んな国の作業療法士を目にすることができました．
また，日本とは異なる取り組みや日本と同じ課題を抱えていることなど，
普段感じることのできない海外の作業療法事情を少し垣間見ることができました．
私は，「Comparison of physical performance in older adults with good cognitive function
and declined cognitive function（認知機能の違いによる運動パフォーマンスの比較）」
という演題で発表しました．
内容は，高齢者の認知機能の違いにより身体機能に違いがあるかどうかを調査した研究です．
この学会では，作業療法学専攻の専門教員10名全員が研究発表を行いました．
